Know Before You Sell Out

StockGlow emails you, your team, or your suppliers before inventory hits zero. Set a threshold per product, choose instant alerts or a digest, and restock while the product is still selling.

A best-seller quietly hitting zero is one of the most expensive things that can happen to a store. The product page keeps getting traffic, the ad spend keeps running, and every visitor lands on a sold-out variant. The worst part is that nobody finds out until someone happens to look.

StockGlow is the early warning. Set a threshold per product or variant, and the app emails the right person before you run out: instantly when stock crosses the line, or as a daily, weekly, or monthly digest that matches your reordering rhythm.

Alerts that go where the reorder happens

Most inventory tools assume the store owner is the one placing orders. StockGlow lets you route each notification to whoever actually acts on it. Send the alert for a vendor’s product line straight to that supplier, give your ops person the weekly digest, and keep your own inbox for the products you personally manage.

Set it up in minutes, not an afternoon

Pick products, set thresholds, choose recipients and timing. There are no workflows to build and no theme changes to make. The dashboard shows every notification you have configured, so adjusting a threshold after a busy season takes seconds.

Built by a Shopify agency, supported like client work

StockGlow is one of three apps we build and run ourselves. We are a Shopify-focused agency, so the people answering support questions also build Shopify stores and apps every week. Read the story behind the app, see why we build on Gadget, or talk to us if your inventory workflow needs something deeper, like supplier integrations or custom app development.

FAQs

Does Shopify have built-in low stock alerts?

Not out of the box. Shopify shows inventory counts in the admin, but it does not email you when a product runs low. Shopify Flow can be configured to send basic low-stock notifications if you are comfortable building and maintaining workflows. StockGlow gives you per-product thresholds, digest schedules, and supplier routing in a couple of clicks instead.

Can alerts go straight to my supplier?

Yes. Each notification has its own recipients, so a low-stock alert for a vendor's products can go directly to that vendor. They reorder without you forwarding emails, and your team stays off the critical path.

What is the difference between instant and scheduled alerts?

Instant alerts fire the moment inventory crosses your threshold, which suits fast-moving best-sellers. Scheduled alerts collect everything below threshold into a daily, weekly, or monthly digest, which suits regular reordering rhythms. You can mix both.

Can I set different thresholds for different products?

Yes. Thresholds are set per product and per variant, so a slow-moving size can alert at 2 units while your best-seller alerts at 50.

How much does StockGlow cost?

The Starter plan is free and includes 1 scheduled notification. Basic is $4.99 per month for up to 5, and Unlimited is $11.99 per month with no limit. Annual billing gets you roughly two months free.
