Fashion Shopify Agency
Custom Shopify stores built for apparel, accessory, and footwear brands

Fashion brands need stores that look like the brand. Editorial photography, considered typography, drop mechanics that build anticipation, and PDPs that take fit and sizing seriously. The default Shopify themes do not do this. Generalist agencies often miss the details that matter for apparel.
We build custom Shopify stores for fashion, apparel, accessory, and footwear brands. The work blends design discipline with the platform depth to make drops, B2B, and complex variant systems work cleanly.
Fashion Stores We’ve Built
Real brands, both named. Performance apparel with a sustainability story to tell, which is the hardest kind of fashion store to get right.
Bio-based activewear, planet-positive supply chain up front
We built the Shopify storefront and led the brand positioning that puts OYM's sustainable supply chain front and center. When the brand later rebranded, we replatformed the store in a week.

No polyester, no nylon, no elastane. Two years of fabric development went into the product; we built the Shopify storefront and shaped the positioning around that one uncompromising promise.

Who you'll work with

You scope the project with the people who build it. The developer on the kickoff call is the developer on launch day.

What Fashion Stores Need That Generalist Builds Miss
Photography-first layouts. Hero crops that respect the photo. Editorial grid layouts that work with seasonal shoots. Image performance tuned so a 4MB lookbook image doesn’t tank your Core Web Vitals.
Variant pickers that don’t fight the user. Apparel has size and color and sometimes fit (regular, tall, petite). Stock-aware swatches. Disabled-state styling that reads cleanly. Smart default selection based on what’s actually available.
Real size guides. Built as sections, not embedded JPEGs. Interactive where it adds value. Linked from PDP without taking the customer out of the flow.
Drop and launch mechanics. Scheduled releases, password-gated previews, customer-specific access via segments or apps, and the queue infrastructure for high-volume launches.
Wholesale and B2B. Most fashion brands eventually sell into retailers. Native Shopify B2B on Plus handles linesheets, customer pricing, and net terms. We build that into the store from the start.
App Stack for Fashion
Every category has its standard apps. For fashion, the working stack is usually:
- Klaviyo for email and SMS. Segmented flows for new collection, abandoned cart, and post-purchase.
- Yotpo or Junip for reviews and UGC.
- Loop or Returnly for returns and exchanges, which matter more in fashion than most categories.
- Recharge or Bold for subscription accessories or staples.
- Klevu or Searchspring for collection search and filtering on large catalogs.
- Okendo for richer review data when reviews are core to conversion.
We have opinions on which combinations work. We’ve also seen which combinations break each other.

FAQs
Do you work with fashion brands at all stages?
Yes. Indie brands launching their first 30-SKU collection through to established brands running multiple seasonal drops a year. The mechanics scale; the brief is different at each stage.
Can you build a drop or launch queue?
Yes. Scheduled drops, password-gated previews, queue management for high-demand launches. We've built these on standard Shopify and Plus. The right setup depends on expected concurrent traffic.
What's your approach to size guides and fit?
Size guides as proper sections (not images), interactive where useful, and fit predictor integrations where the catalog supports it. Fit confidence is one of the biggest conversion levers in apparel.
Do you handle wholesale for fashion brands?
Yes. Native Shopify B2B on Plus, or B2B apps on standard Shopify. Linesheets, customer-specific pricing, and draft order workflows for sales reps.
